Military Families United serves as the nation's premier military family advocacy organization, representing the Gold and Blue Star families throughout the country and their loved ones who wear, or have worn, our nation's uniform. Military Families United was founded in the summer of 2008 as a not-for-profit, non-partisan 501c4 organization committed to supporting America's military families.

We fight to ensure that the sacrifices of these families are not in vain by giving them a voice in Washington, D.C and state governments throughout the country. Military Families United engages Members of Congress, the Administration, and the general public in efforts to communicate the truth about our brave men and women in uniform and their mission to protect our freedom that cost many of them their lives. As our service members and the brave families of our fallen heroes continue to sacrifice in defense of freedom, we will continue to fight for the recognition and support they deserve. As an organization started by Gold Star families, we understand the emotions military families experience when they are notified of the loss of their Hero. Together we have endured the loss of our sons and daughters, brothers and sisters, husbands and wives and we stand united, proudly supporting the brave Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Marines and Guardsmen who fight to finish the job our Heroes so bravely began. We work, in honor of our Heroes, to support the servicemen and women in combat, along with their courageous families here at home. Military Families United is a non-partisan, not-for-profit advocacy organization representing Gold and Blue Star families throughout the country. Our mission is simple: To represent and support the families of the courageous men and women in uniform who keep America safe and secure. We work on behalf of the thousands of military families across the country to ensure their voice is heard on Capitol Hill, in the media, and throughout the world, showing their support for our troops.
